My formal education background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and have served as a Junior High School Teacher for fifteen years.
Despite operating as one of the few professional calligraphers in Edmonton, I take my art and role of marriage officiant very seriously. I have also studied with many internationally renowned calligraphers and constantly updating my skills through conferences, workshops and reading materials.

Alexis Reiter has been a working professional for a very long time, previously with all three levels of Government. That is her passion and forever will remain. Many years ago, through persistence and an entrepreneurial shift, she transitioned from working in education, teaching secondary science for fifteen years to being a calligraphy artist and marriage commissioner.
